Newbury player wins $1 million grand prize

Congratulations to Patrick Winslow of Newbury who today won a $1 million prize playing the Billion Dollar Bonanza instant game.

Winslow, shown here with Executive Director Mark Cavanagh, came to Braintree headquarters to collect the first of 20 annuity checks of $50,000 before taxes.

He bought the lucky ticket at Dick’s Variety North located at 4 Main Street in Salisbury. The store will receive a $10,000 commission on the sale.
